IPD Transmission Flush Hose 900 1995

I would not suggest running the engine until bubbles come out. There's no need to. When I flushed our 95 960, I started the car, watched the container fill, when it got to the 1.5 qt mark, I turned the engine off. By the time I went from the front of the car to the driver's door to turn it off, the container filled to 2 qts. It only takes 15-25 seconds to pump out the 2 qts.

One note of caution. RECHECK your fluid levels when your all done and the engine is hot and has been driven. ATF expands a lot when hot.... so even thought you are putting in the same volume of ATF, one fluid will be at room temp and the other at tranny temp. So you can easily overfill the trans.

Been there done that.
