Volvo 740 headlight conversion 700 1989

I have a 1989 Volvo 740 with the 4 seperate halogen headlights and wanted to know whether the composite headlight(no-foglight) from a 1990-up 740 would work on my 89 model year. If so, can I just swap out the headlight or do I need particular parking and turn signal lights as well. If not, are there any alternatives that lean towards composite headlights for my model year.
