Do all 200s use York Compressors 200 1980

Hi

I'm in the process of adjusting the belt on the 244 again - I hate it. I wonder why don't they have an adjustable idler pulley like just about every other car in the world. My compressor is on its last legs as well.

My question is, did they all mount the same. Also, did all come with the primitive York compressor. Or did some use rotary or 5 cylinder compressors. I'm thinking that if I went the route of changing the compressor again, I might as well do it properly if there is an alternative.

thanks
