Windshield wiper relay problem ??? 200 1991

One of my 240s has a similar problem with the wipers running when turned off. There is a ground contact under the cover of the wiper motor that was corroded. Removing the cover and sanding the contact and cover where the contact touched it cured the problem. The relay for future information is under the drivers left foot stuck way down behind a black curved piece of sheet metal. You will see a bunch of wire bundles leading down when you pull back the carpet, it is at the end of one of them.
Good luck
