Wiring harness repair 200 1986

Well, I've been putting off replacing my unhealthy wiring harness in the 86... with the work I did yesterday (cam seal, intake manifold gasket, and intake air hose replacement) I was reminded (again) that it really is urgent.
In IPD's website, I came across their harness repair kits and single replacement wires. Here's the page:

I didn't realize there was a lower cost option than the total replacement option. Anyone have any comments about the kit or using the single wires?
Seems like a good alternative for mine and maybe many others. My alternator red wire has already been re-routed, so the kit is not significantly different from what I've got now.
Less work than installing a complete harness anyway.
