Transmission Problems 200 1993

My 93 240 wagon transmission with around 137k has been acting strange. It started about a week ago. I used to be able to let up on the gas a tad to kick it in third and now that doesn't work anymore. It downshifts into second kind of hard, I never felt it downshift at all before. Also thrid gear shifts are vey high now. And today it doesn't want to go into overdrive at all. I put a new overdrive relay in about two weeks ago. The arrow is off and I can turn it on and off by the button on the shifter, so that must be working? Is there something out of adjustment? I flushed the fluid about 8k ago and it is at the right level. Also if this relates to the problem, my accelerator seems to be rather stiff sometimes. Do I need to look for a new tranny?
