Oregon Emissions Continued 700 1986

AAAAUUUUGGGGHHHH!!!! What is going on???

I had my catalytic converter tested, it's fine as far as temperature goes. Still running too high on NOX and THC... could it be the O2 sensor? I know you all have said my mixture is possibly too rich, but a friend tells me a bad O2 sensor can send the wrong signals to the "brain", which in turn will tell the engine to run richer.

If I buy an O2 sensor, is it a good bet?

Thanks in advance... all your help is greatly appreciated.
