Trailer Wiring Problem on 245 200

I am getting desperate. I had uhaul put a trailer hitch and wiring on my 91 245. They used one of their converter box and put it in the spare tire hole near the driver rear tail lights. They taped into the wires coming from up front and and then sent their wires over to the passenger side rear. The burnt out bulb warning light keeps coming on and I am blowing the fuse for the turnsignals. I took it back in and they checked it again and it seems to be wired right. I am wondering if I need a seperate power wire coming back from up front or some kind of volvo converter. Sorry this is longwinded. There is no brakes hooked up only lights. Help would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Lenny
