A/C To R134 complete conversion 200 1989

So many different opinions, and even different kits at the dealer...
Now I noticed that there is a guy on ebay selling a "complete" kit which even has the high pressure hose, claiming it for 240s '79-'90. Let's assume there are no major leaks anywhere... I only really need to change the dryer and expansion valve, after flushing and filling compr with ester oil, correct?

If I get the 20$ dryer and 17$ exp valve from fcpgroton, couple that with my oiling and flushing work, and new o-rings, I should be good, right?

Lastly, can I assume that the new dryer will have the fill port (low side) on it? I am confused to see the ebay complete 200$ kit has a thinner black dryer, I thought the black ones were for R12 and the wider alum ones for R134. Does anyone know about that?

Thanks,
