tail lights/ins.lights/front lights gone haywire 200 1985

Hello all dont know where to start my 240DL when i step on brake pedal the ins. lights and marker lights in front of car light up. The brake light lights up also. If i switch on the fog(rear)lights than the front drive lights light up instead of the marker lights. Its not blowing fusses. I did notice that the left rear tail light is differnt than the right the pc board on right its like the color wires into plug dont seem to go to the light that it should when following the pattern on pc board at light. Its a 85 240DL are there different lights that are same but different in or on where the plug plugs in. Im not sure how to ask this question properly. I also noticed that the former owner had jumped a wire or wires the two white and the fog wire are jumped on left side (driverside) any help is needed and wanted thanks in advance
