Sway Bars - Do They Wear Out? 700

Has anyone ever had -- or heard of -- sway bars wear out?

I suppose it's just a torsion bar, so it can lose its "spring" if it's flexed hard enough, frequently enough. I've just never heard of anyone needing to replace them because they're worn. I've only heard of folks upgrading for better handling.

The reason I ask is that my 945-T (with new front & rear springs, struts/shocks, all bushings, tie rods, ball joints, sway bar links/bushings) feels a little loose going into corners. But then once it leans a little, it reaches a point where it gets solid as a rock and handles great. It just seems like when it begins to lean, it could be a bit tighter.

Any thoughts are appreciated.
