1988 240 GL Brake Caliper ID

Just bought a 1988 240 GL sedan with 121K. While trying to order brake pads for this car, the part dealer wants to know what is the caliper type - ATE or Girling ? Does anyone know if there is a way to tell which of the two my 240 GL is using without removing the wheels. Thanks, Andrew
