NGK or Bosch plugs for B230F / B234F ? 700

For NGK, when comparing my B230F 1989 (240) and my B234F 1991 (940 GLE), the plug numbers are identical (as seen through fcpgroton list), BPR6ES or something...

For Bosch, my 1989 B230F takes WR7 something and my 1991 B234F takes WR6 something...

Why the same plug in NGK but different plugs in Bosch?
Looking through past posts there appears to be a consensus to go with regular NGK, but the fact that Bosch offers unique plugs for the two engines makes me wonder...

What should I get? Why the difference here? what can cause Bosch to offer different plugs when NGK does not?
