'71 I think uses glue rather than a rubber gasket. What'd be involved is cutting a windscreen out at the PnP without damaging it. Any windscreen from '70 144 up to about '89 240 will do, although you might want to specifically look for a tinted or non-tinted one depending on your taste - and even the late 240 type with the integrated trim will fit, although of course that means you won't be able to attach your own trim anymore. It's what I'll be putting in the 145 after I'm done restoring it.

Then clean up the new windscreen, cut out the old one, clean up the frame and glue in the new one. Which isn't too bad especially if you've got an assistant, but it can be messy, and make sure to do it carefully lest you miss a spot and it starts leaking. For my money, and especially if I got the price down to $180, I'd let the shop do it and have them run the risk of breaking something.
