ignition timing 200

What would be the optimum ignition advance for mpg on a B19A (for those who don't know it's the same as B21A only with a smaller bore)
I currently run 14 deg adv. at idle with vacum disconnected, still no pinging. Can i run to much advance and still not get pinging? I always thought that as much advance as you can get without pinging is best for good fuel economy and performance. Am i correct? Can i get to the point that i have so much advance that performance get worse, and still not get detonation? I get around 19 mpg from my 244 B19A. I sometimes have a heavy foot but most of my driving is highway at 65-75 mph, and since i only have 4 gears rpm is between 3500 and 4000 on the highway. Are the high revs at highway cruise the reason for the high fuel consumption or is it normal?
