Woob...Woob...Woob sound in front left of '93 940 900 1993

Hi, I just got a 93 940 about 1 month ago and I've put on about 1,000 miles. When the car is rolling along at 15 mph, I hear a "woob...woob...woob..." noise and the car pulsates (lunges?) very slightly whether the brakes are applied or not. Tires appear good and only have about 22K miles. I have had flat spots and I don't think that this is it. I hope it isn't a sealed bearing assembly as those are $105 at the local parts house (Discount Auto Parts in Central Florida) Any help??? Please advise and thanks in advance...
