Sunroof Leak 900 1997

Hi All,

I have a leak in my sunroof. Actually it is a series of leaks! The first area is the sunroof glass which is leaking on both sides between the glass and the metal bracket attached to the glass. The other area leaking is the back of the sunroof tray by the two rear drain holes.

In both cases the leaks are due to the caulking/sealant having failed. My question is what caulk or sealant is recommended? I am using silicone but want to get people’s recommendations before I proceed. Removing the headliner and sunroof is a royal pain and I don't want to have to redo my work a few years down the road.
