Front end shimmy still there 200

I had a loose, shimmy feeling on my 1992 245 DL at cruising speeds so I started by replacing the ball joints per some bricksters advice. The steering does feel tighter, but I still detect a slight shimmy. I figured I could get the front wheels balanced first (but the tires don't have more than 5,000 miles on them) and if that doesn't cure it, some bricksters thought it may be the tie rod (bushings or end). I have also thought about replacing all the front suspension bushings as the car has 98,000 miles on it. What would you recommend and/or do you have any ideas what might be causing the shimmy?
