Oil leak fix(try again) 700

Just replaced the 2 "O" rings on the oil filter extension. Has anyone run into these problems do this job?
1) The "O" ring nearest the oil filter has to be stretched to make it fit in the groove.
2) The FAQ says to use a 30mm deep socket to remove the nut under the filter. Didn't even want to attemp with the 30mm socket way to sloppy. It must be a 29mm deep. Didn't have one so used a 1 1/16" which was still a little sloppy but much better than the 30mm.

Now the question. Have one very small leak remaining the oil is leaking where the oil cooler tube meets the first fitting. This fitting then goes into another fitting which screws into the extension. What am i going to run into when i seperate these fittings at the next oil change? An "O" ring, a gasket, or just a flared tube end? Thanks
