Floor panel rusting? Where? 200 1989

Acually, as an easier alternative, just look under the car. The rust usually develops on the floor pans, which are the sunken areas where your feet go, including the areas immediately rear of that -- looks like a pan. These are easily visible even without a lift. Just look under each side of the car and punch around on it. You can tell if you have rust developing.

And if you do, you should probably repair with sheet metal from the top and fiberglassing/under-coating from the bottom.
