DID I FIND MY PROBLEM??? ALL EXPERTS PLEASE REPLY! 200 1987

OK. I have a few more questions. First I have checked the fuse under the hood next to the coil. I had problems with this before and i replaced the cap, wires, fuse, and fuel filter.. That was this fall and no problems since. I have already ordered the fuel sender unit, this one is rotting. How do I know if if the in tank fuel pump is working? Second if it is working is there a chance that the fuel filter needs replaced again???? The pump attaced to the sending unit is only the pre-pump? where is the fuel pump. Sorry I am stuck at my folks place and don't have my book with me. Another lesson learned...never leave home without your book. educate me ......thanks mike
