Fuel Pump??? 200 1977

Perhaps the good people of Brickboard can help me??? My 1977 240 cuts out and stops running when it gets to about 1/2 tank. I thought it might be the in-tank lift pump. So I tried to order a new one from GAPA where I have had good service for several years, however they haven't been answering the phone lately and their website is locked up. They also have not sent my pump... I wonder if anyone out there has any idea whats going on out there.I may have to get one somewhere else. There seem to be several good places on the internet such as volvoworld.com/any suggestions on that?
