I posted about this before...

i have a replacement valve - I CAN NOT get the housing (the bit that the cables attache to out...) I cant twist as it is up against the pedal box/heater matrix support bracket...it wont pull and its all plastic so i dont want to shatter it...

Wife.com says that this car is costing too much money and WAY to much time...want to go back to VW (and she has a point the polo at almost twice the age NEVER had to have anything other than routine servicing...)

has anyone actually done this??? i am talking about the water valve on the firewall with 2 control cables going to it....
