780 power stage (amplifier) was culprit, car humming again!

David Hunter, thanks for the suggestion on the power stage...no pulses where getting to the ignition coil as you suggested so I removed the power stage or, as others call it, the amplifier and found a defect in the inside surface area plate. Also, the dielectric gel had dried up and looked like powder. Also, I noticed that the left side engine to body ground had been disconnected and with the gel in the amplifier dried, the amplifier could have been "burned" or ruined due to its grounding?? Just in the learning phase here...
Anyway, happy to say the car is running and I have learned alot...go brickboard!
