no fuel presure? fuel pump? 200 1983

i've got a 245 turbo . i puled the hose of the filter to see if there is any fuel geting to it. no fuel. what is the best way to check the fuel pump? both the fuses are fine. were is the fuel pump relay? got a haynes manual, may as well be for another car. thanks in advance.
