Does the 700/900 FAQ section on fuel delivery issues relate to the 200 series as well? 200

I have a 90 240 wagon non-turbo with 140,000 on it.
I'm having the beginning symptoms of fuel pump failure that are real similiar to those discussed in the 700/900 FAQS section on fuel supply issues.
Do these instructions/ advice work for the 200 series as well.
I realize there are some cosmetic and location differences.
