1990 740 Turbo Dies Without Warning 700 1990

Help...My 1990 740 Turob Wagon still dies without warning. As I try to duplicate the condition, I do notice that it could be related to hard driving..., maybe. When it dies, all dashboard lights light up. I pull the car over to the side of the road, and it starts up immediately. I have replaced the Fuel Pump Relay, Ignition Control Module, and RMP (Crank) Sensor. Last night I accessed the fule pump in the gas tank, and listened to it as I turned on the ignition, and it seems to be working, that is, I can hear a buzzing noise as if its working. Now I am wondering if it is the main fuel pump at the engine...sheesh. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
