HVAC on an '83....are there really two (cabin) thermostats? 200 1983

There is a thermostat for the heater and a thermostat for the a/c. They are separate.

As far as going into to oil up the blower motor, you shoud fix the enginge fan and or water pump first. Getting access to the blower motor is a pain. If you go through the trouble to get to it you should replace the blower motor if it is original because they go bad. The last blower motor I replaced failed because the material from brush wear had accumulated between the magnets and the armature causing the motor to bind up. Oil would not have help here.
