I have a 74 164. I also have a wrecked 75 parts car(pulled motor allready,no trans) that I have to get towed to the wrecker. Are most of the FI items on the 75 interchangeabble with the 74? How about the diff? Also how hard is it to locate a 4 spd for this model?( was OD available) Will other Volvo trans bolt up? How difficult would it be to locate carbs and manifolds for a 164 or was this mostly on the Euros? Any input appreciated.
