Good afternoon.
I just picked up the two rubber hoses that are right by the oilfilter today. One of them is short and is u-shaped.The other one is a little longer. When i get to my friends place i will replace the one that is leaking (u-shaped) and the other one since the other one might be soft from oil filter changes too.
Just have a few questions.
1 Will i be able to move the car from the where it is parked to my friends garage which is about 50 feet or so? pretty sure most if not all of the coolant is gone out of the system.
2 Should fill with some coolant before moving the car?
3 Could i just replace these hoses where the car sits? Don't want to damage the head gaskets etc.
4 Use the ramps i have but that would mean to move the car to my friends' garage. Or just use the car jack and lift up the passenger side and do the work where the car sits?
5 How much coolant do i need to refill the system. 50/50 Peak coolant.
Thank you.
