amount of coolant in system 700 1992

To Coolant??

As usual, Mr. Ringlee is correct. You will need to set your temperature control(ie the one inside your car that determines cabin temp) to hot. The coolant recovery cap is under the exhaust manifold (ie a coolant drain for the block) near the firewall. I think you will need a 13 or 15mm wrench to open this valve. Also, remember to loosen your expansion tank cap as that will help to drain the system.

As for coolant volume you will need about 6 litres of fluid total so expect to have at least 3L of coolant and 3L of DISTILLED H2O.

Hope this helps,

Tim
