Rear Plastic moulding 200 1985

Hey all, i am just wondering about the rear plastic part that came on later model 240GL and GLE models.

It is a black plastic moulding that integrates the rear mudflaps goes around the back, with a cutout for the exhaust tip on the left hand side. I cant find the part online anywhere, and i have been told that it wont fit on my 1985 240, which has the earlier metal rear guard.
Any help would be tops, thanks in advance,
