know that feeling about ovbertorqued stuff...once rebuilt a honda bike engine..as i torqued up the thru engine bolts (LONG bolts from head to crank that are special high tensile steel) got all the bolts up to 1/4 torque in sequence and the last one snapped..leaving the head buried inside a blind hole in the crank..OUCH..luckily i stripped the engine and managed to insert the snapped bolt and turn the end out using the snapped bolt & pliers - yeh i know im one lucky son ofa gun!) didnt help when the replacement bolt was $20! that bolt must reallyt have been leant on at some time!
