Wheel well chrome trim 700 1988

If you mean the thin strip of chrome(plastic I think)trim that is about a 1/4'' wide, then they are sorta "glued" on with the same adhesive that the Volvo badges and whatnot are put on with. The best way to remove it is wait for a hot day and then use a "blow dryer" to heat up the strip to make the adhesive easier to remove, and then get some sort of solvent(goo gone or the like) to remove the leftover adhesive. I'm going to tell you now, it's a bit** to remove that adhesive crap. I removed the trim from two of the fenderwells so far and it has taken quite some time to get rid of the adhesive. I'm not replacing mine, just getting rid of it all together to give the car a cleaner look. Hope this helps.
