a/c compressor removal. 700

What's the right way to remove the a/c compressor? Through the bottom or through the top (which seems to necessitate removal of the alternator). I need to change the oil in it for a R134a conversion. Also, how much ester oil should I pour in, and if it dosent all fit in the compressor for some reason (a problem I had in my peugeot, which probably wont happen here but I figured I'd as), is it ok to pour the remainder into the reciever dryer? Thanks!

Oh yeah, where's the high side port?
