adjusting idle 200 1990

Hi,
My volvo is 1990 240dl, LH Jetronics; it was delivered from oversea(manufacture), came with EGR eventhough it is not required in VA.
I like to know how the idle is adjusted because the Bentley manual is very confusing(I have found several errors). The manual shows adjusting at the Air mass, but mine does not have the scew at that location. It also shows shorting a test connnector right by the coil to ground to adjust idle electronically, but I could not find it. The only way I can adjust idle is by the idle screw.

I think for more than $35, the Bentley manual is such. Fore an example, Bentley manual says RPM signal should be not less than 8VDC(my meter shows only around 4-6VDC) at pin 1 on fuel ECU connector, this is when my fuel pump relay does not work(no Neg from pin 20 on ECU to the relay)... After doing some looking I decide to buy another ECU.. and it solves the problem.

Thanks in advance,

MMN
