245 Wagon Legroom 200 1988

I'm 6'2" tall and long legged and I have less than 2" of space between my knee and the dash. The seat is set back all the way and, yes, the special driver up/down adjustment is set most favorably. The old posts on this issue never resolved the problem which may be worse in the Wagons. Any solutions will have to avoid interfering with the rear seat drop for the cargo area. Maybe the Sedans have a better track (but would get in the way of the rear seat drop)?
