Engine miss - wires??? 200 1990

Looking for some opinions or maybe a diagnosis confirmation. During the last two rainstorms (deluges..) here the car will occasionally miss or hesitate at moderate engine speeds. Runs great otherwise. Does it sound like spark plug wires?? Haven't seen any arcing, but then again I haven't checked recently...

A few details. Tuned-up about 15k ago. Plugs, air filter, dist. cap, rotor. Did NOT change the spark plug wires. Wires and fuel filter have been on the car since I bought it 2 1/2 years ago. I had planned on changing them soon anyway.

Guess I'll be buying wires sooner rather than later.... Thinking about Bougecord (sp?) or Magnecor. Will Magnecor make any difference? Also Radio suppression with present Bosch wires isn't very good. Stock except for IPD sport exhaust.

Thanks,
