940 air bag replacement 900 1993

Bought a well-maintained 940 Turbo Sedan with all the extras. I really love the Turbo boost and will change the oil faithfully and let it idle to cool down. So much nicer than my 240 GL Sedan.

My wife noticed a sticker on the car that said that the air bags must be replaced after ten years. Has anyone done that and know how to find a good price? Is it really necessary? What happens if we don't replace the one air bag it has on the passanger's side?
