Auto Shift Panel Lights 98 S90 S90-V90

There is a small rectangular red light indicator right next to drive modes like P, R, D..and it stays on when the engine is running. However, there is no light on the P,R....it makes the selection of modes to be guessing at night. Do I have a blown bulb or this is just the way it is. Assumed the bulb is bad, what is the color of indicators on P, R.. when they work?? Thanks.
