Engine wiring harness... 700 1987

I replaced my harness last year. Since I did not know you could buy them used, I shopped around and found the best price on a new one from www.newandusedvolvoparts.com, around $360 I believe...

Anyway, I have heard that Dave Barton (at the below link) sells good used ones for under $200!)

The job itself was rather simple. I wasted about 45 min. making sure I got the correct injector connector on each injector, but that apparently does not matter. So It should not take you more than 1-2 hours. You may however find that other electrical components may have become damaged as a result of the
shorts caused by the 'missing' wiring insulation. I ended up needing to replace my ECU to cure my idle problem...

Good Luck,
JJ
