Scan Tech HD wagon springs 900 1993

Anybody got Scan Tech heavy-duty coil springs on your wagon? I know I've seen 'em mentioned here, but can't find the posts... and I have questions...

I got a set of these from FCP and installed this weekend. I was expecting that the rear end would be a bit higher, and firmer (ie harder to push down on the bumper). Instead, the rear is lower (26 1/2" vs. 26 3/4", measured at center of rear wheel arch), and seems bouncier when pushing down on the bumper.

Does this match your experience with these springs? I called FCP & they are "researching"... will call them again tomorrow. The springs they sent were labeled with what they said are the correct part # (Volvo #1359710; Scan Tech # 66110)... perhaps the two springs were mislabled? seems unlikely but who knows.

Here's a photo of one of the new springs, next to one of the old ones, which to the best of my knowledge is stock, and original.

TIA,
