M46 in a 940? 900

Anybody know if it's possible to swap a M46 into the last few years of 940? Mechanically I can't see how it would be any worse than any other auto-to-manual swap as long as one had a donor car. But I'm a little clueless about the computers. Would I need to do anything special to make it run properly? Thanks for any input.
