Cruise control installation 700 1990

Hello Board,

This is my first post. I recently bought a 1990 740GL. I'm very happy with it. The faq section has already saved me money and made me more confident about working on my Volvo. Thanks for your help.

I would like to install cruise control on my car. I called the parts department of my local dealer(I'm in Seattle) and was told the parts needed to do this would cost over a thousand dollars.

I think I need the installation kit. Is there an internet source for these parts or do I need to go to a junk yard?
