rotor sizes - caliper and rotor do not match - this has to be common? 200 1989

Hi All:

Working on a 89 240 project car and was just putting the whole front suspension back togther. Was forced to buy new calpers and rotors. I got beck arnley replacement calipers (girling front vented). I bought brembo rotors (10 1/2) 270730s.

Well - I either have the wrong caliper or wrong rotor - the caliper touches the interior of the rotor and obviously will not spin. My guess is I was given the wrong caliper - but it sure looks like the original and matched them up when I picked them up at the supplier. Plus, I have an old set of girling front brake calipers and got them out to compare.

From looking at IPD's catalog and other sources, it looks like only one caliper and one rotor is listed for an 89 240 vented (without abs). I thought I was home free and ready to get this thing on the road................

What the heck is going on here???
