760 unusual prob 700

Hi Agin
My 760 turbo auto estate 1986 is still giving me grief,it will start ok, drive for short while then gradually looses power down to idle at any throttle position, if you keep driving with it with foot hard down on the floor it eventually conks out completely and when you lift the bonnet up the exhaust manifold is stonkingly bright orange, (ouch) give it ten or twenty mins and it will start agin, i have a theory about a leak in the induction side somewhere, the motronic richens up the fuel causing the manifold to get too hot causing the turbo to seeze causing lack of power and heat from manifold affecting a crank sensor which gives the no starting, but its probably a bit far fetched, any one got any ideas, im really baffled by this one.
