From personal experience I suggest that you get an accountability partner
to make sure you keep working on that car until you can drive it.
I have seen WAY too many projects (many of my own) end up in the scrap
after large investments of both money and time, solely for lack of
perseverance to keep going till the job is done.

A wife is a start but since they value relationships above projects
they typically will not keep your feet to the fire hard enough to
get you past the roadblocks that will inevitably loom large before you.
Therefore you need a hardboiled buddy, preferably one with mechanical
skill and intuition and (hopefully) a little spare time.
