Engine Start Up Trouble 200 1986

Claudie, I'm not a mechanic or anything, but I recently had starting problems with my 1989 240. What I did was steel brushed my battery posts and cables to make sure there was electrical contact. Sometimes there's corrosion there. I also used steal brush to clean the 2 fuel pump (Main and In-take) fuses in the bottom left under the steering wheel. I also have a fuse located near my battery that I cleaned as well. My car has been running well for 3 weeks now. Good luck.
