240DL low power at low RPM 200 1982

I bought this beautiful beast a year ago and it ran great until February. Before February on really cold mornings the idle seemed to be inconsistent and the car did not have much power at low RPMs but it wouldnt stall. After five minutes it would kick in and be fine. When I was driving home from skiing one day in February the car started to run funny when I was in traffic and now constantly has the same problem, even on the highway. Now all the instrument lights come on when I take my foot off the gas. I cant figure out what could be wrong. Does anyone have an idea!?
