help, my 940 is drinking fuel 900 1991

hey all

I have a 940GL 2.0litre injection with a cat, only i removed the cat cuz it was stuffed. I don't go very far, perhaps 10 - 15 miles at most and it costs £10 each day, I've checked the output from the 02 sensor, and it seems ok, at idle it varies between 0.4volts and 0.6 volts, and at 2000rpm, its about 0.6/0.7 volts. its not the fuel pressure regulator, i removed the return hose with the engine running and it poured out 1/4 pint in 5 seconds(approx). I took the injectors out and they were fine, i'd used a fuel additive to clean the injectors and they were spotless. everything seems to be ok, except on acceleration i do get a slight hesitation, and i get the feeling the engine is not as powerful as it should be. can anyone help??
